Abstract

This study aims at determining the stakeholders' assertivity
toward forbidden fatwa against smoking at SMP Muhammadiyah 7
Yogyakarta in 2012. This research is a qualitative research with case
study design. The sample of this study were stakeholders at SMP
Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta who consisted of the Daily Governing
Agencies (BPH), Principal, Conselor Teachers, and Students. The data
collection was done by using in-depth interviews and focus group
discussions (FGD). The result of this study found that stakeholders at
SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta had already implemented the
forbidden fatwa against smoking. The stakeholder knowledge on smoking
were in good categories, and the role of citizens at SMP Muhammadiyah
7 Yogyakarta toward the implementation of the forbidden fatwa against
smoking were both positive and negative.
