PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM PENDIDIKAN MENSTRUASI DENGAN PERILAKU SAAT MENSTRUASI PADA REMAJA PUTRI

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation betweenthe roles of parents in menstrual education and the behavior of menstrualperiod in adolescent girls. This research used survey method with thecross sectional time approach. The sampling techniques used in thisresearch were purposive sampling and proportionate stratified randomsampling with anumber of 87 respondents. The analysis technique to testthe hypothesis used Kendal Tau. The result of this research showed thatthere was a correlation between the roles of parents in menstrual educationand the behavior of menstrual period (p=0.003) in adolescent girl. Studentsare expected to be more active and critical, and have the willingness andability to obtain more information about reproductive health.Keywords: roles of parents, menstruation, behavior during menstruation
