ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR DAN UJI KOMPETENSI LULUSAN

Abstract

This study aims at determining the factors associated with
academic achievement and competency test of midwifery students. The
design of this study was co-relational analytic survey with a retrospective
approach. The total population of this study was 260 of midwifery
students. The total sample was 108 students taken by using purposive
sampling technique. The data analysis used in this study was
nonparametric statistical tests. The results showed that the factors
associated with Grades Point Average (GPA) were national of final
value (p=0.019), grades on the previous education (p=0.034), psycho
test (p=0.038), and scholarships (p=0.042). Some other factors such
as quation intelligence, interests, organizational activity, income,
occupation, education level of parents were not associated with the
students' GPA. Furthermore, those factors also did not relate to their
competency test results. There was no association between the students
GPA and their competency test results.
