FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDIDIK SEBAYA DALAM MEMBERIKAN INFORMASI KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the behavior ofpeer educators in providing reproductive health information to adolescentsin high school students in Kulon Progo District of Yogyakarta. Thisresearch is explanatory research with cross sectional approach. Thesample was 81 peer educators in high school in Kulon Progo District ofYogyakarta. Data collecting instruments are questionnaires. Data wereanalyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The resultsshowed that peer educators were well-behaved in providing informationon ARH (51.9%) and were misbehaved (48.1%). Behavior of peereducators were influenced by the knowledge of adolescent reproductivehealth (OR=2.972), availability of facilities that support peer educatorsin providing information (OR=2.886). The result clearly supports TheDepartment of Community, Village Governance, Women and FamilyPlanning (BPMPDP & KB) of Kulon Progo district of Yogyakarta tohold refreshing material ARH (Adolescent Reproduction Health) andassignments for peer educators with the principal.Keywords: behavior of peer educators, giving information ARH
