FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENDIDIK SEBAYA DALAM MEMBERIKAN INFORMASI KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI REMAJA

Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the behavior of
peer educators in providing reproductive health information to adolescents
in high school students in Kulon Progo District of Yogyakarta. This
research is explanatory research with cross sectional approach. The
sample was 81 peer educators in high school in Kulon Progo District of
Yogyakarta. Data collecting instruments are questionnaires. Data were
analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results
showed that peer educators were well-behaved in providing information
on ARH (51.9%) and were misbehaved (48.1%). Behavior of peer
educators were influenced by the knowledge of adolescent reproductive
health (OR=2.972), availability of facilities that support peer educators
in providing information (OR=2.886). The result clearly supports The
Department of Community, Village Governance, Women and Family
Planning (BPMPDP & KB) of Kulon Progo district of Yogyakarta to
hold refreshing material ARH (Adolescent Reproduction Health) and
assignments for peer educators with the principal.
