PENCEGAHAN RISIKO GANGGUAN JIWA PADA KELUARGA MELALUI MODEL PREVENTIVE CARE

Abstract
the effectiveness of Preventive Care Model toward risk of mental
disorders on their family who care their patients in Banaran Village, Galur,
Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. Simple random sampling technique was used
to recruit 15 families who have patient mental disorders. Subjects were
given a grouping intervention for 60 minutes that it was done four times
a month and it was done assesment the level of risk of psychiatric disorders
before and after the intervention. The results of the analysis by using
Wilcoxon Test Match show that the average risk of mental disorders
score before intervention is 60.33 and after intervention is 67.87, a decline
in risk as much as 7.54. It can be concluded that preventive care models
proven signicantly effective to decrease the risk of mental disorders in
families with p value of 0.021 (p<0.05).
