Abstract

Abstract: This correlational descriptive study was to determine the
relationship of knowledge about cervical cancer with an interest to
undergo IVA inspection at Soka, Merdikorejo, Tempel, Sleman District
in 2012. This study used a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this
study were women of childbearing age by using random sampling. Data
collection was obtained by using the enclosed questionnaire and data
were analyzed by Chi Square test. The results shows that p-value analysis
is 0.038 (p <0.05). Due to the result, the study strongly indicates that
there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about
cervical cancer and interest to undergo IVA inspection.
