Abstract

Abstract: This correlational descriptive study was to determine therelationship of knowledge about cervical cancer with an interest toundergo IVA inspection at Soka, Merdikorejo, Tempel, Sleman Districtin 2012. This study used a cross-sectional approach. The sample of thisstudy were women of childbearing age by using random sampling. Datacollection was obtained by using the enclosed questionnaire and datawere analyzed by Chi Square test. The results shows that p-value analysisis 0.038 (p <0.05). Due to the result, the study strongly indicates thatthere is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge aboutcervical cancer and interest to undergo IVA inspection.Keywords: cervical cancer knowledge, interest to IVA
