Abstract

The purpose of this correlation study with cross-sectional
design is to determine the relation of the midwife’s role in administering
Fe tablet and nutrition counseling with anemia incidence of pregnant
mother in trimester III in public health center of Yogyakarta city. Forty
five people from five public health centers in the Yogyakarta city were
recruited as sample using proportional sampling technique. Data analysis
using Chi Square Test revealed that there is relation between the midwife’s
role in administering Fe tablet and anemia incidence (÷ = 9,132; p<0,05).
Also, there is relationship between midwife’s role in nutrition counseling
and the anemia incidence (÷ =9,601; p<0.05).
