Abstract

The purpose of this non-experiment with crosssectional
approach research was to find the correlation between
health education on early ambulation with early mobilization in
postpartum mother. Sampling with quota sampling, 50 parturition
women who were treated at Alamanda III ward, RSUD
Panembahan Senopati Bantul, Yogyakarta. Research instrument
using quistionnaire. Health education on early ambulation
implementation by officer, mostly is in good categorize (42%),
as well as the implementation of early mobilization on post
partum mothers mostly in good category (42%). Kendall Tau
showed there is correlation between health education on early
ambulation with early mobilization in postpartum mother
(Ï„=0,368; p=0,004<0,05).
