Abstract

The purpose of this correlation study is to determine therelationship between sex education by parents and teenager premaritalsexual behavior. Data were collected in March 2011 using questionnaires.Seventy three respondents were recruited as sample of the study usingsimple random sampling. Data analysis using Kendall Tau correlationtest revealed that there is no relationship between the provision of sexeducation by parents and adolescent premarital sexual behavior (ô -0.115; p>0,05).Keywords: provision of parental sex education, premarital sexualbehavior, teenager
