Abstract

This pre-experiment research with one group pretest-
post-test design aims at describing the effect of health
education child safety to parent behavior in accident prevention
to toddler. Instrument research using questionnaires. The
population comprised 24 subjects, using a total sampling technique,
obtained 24 samples. Results of paired t-test analysis
on the knowledge (t=-12.275, p=0.000), attitude (t=-14.176,
p=0.000) and practice (t=10.376, p=0.000), all results
p<0.05. Concluded there was a significant effect of health
education to child safety to increase parental behavior in
accident prevention to toddler. Advised on health professionals
can provide information about child safety to parents of toddler.
