PELAKSANAAN DISCHARGE PLANNING PADA PASIEN POST SECTIO CAESARIA

The qualitative research with phenomenological approachaims to investigate the implementation of Discharge Planning by officersin the room Sakinah PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Researchconducted on three key informants, namely the head of the room, themidwife coordinator of the room, and patient. The data collected usingin-depth interview, content analysis, and observation. Analysis hypothesisby triangulation method shows the implementation of discharge planningis not perfect and there is no standardized format specifically for obstetricpatients. Discharge planning evaluation results showed 81% forindependence bathing the baby. Implementation constraints dischargeplanning is the reluctance of patients, human resources not understandthe purpose of discharge planning and midwives were not involved inplanning the discharge of patients.Key words: discharge planning, repatriation, patient autonomyDownloads
