Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of a
postpartum national program in midwifery private practice in Bantul.
This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods with case study
design and descriptive. Respondents are 40 private practice midwife
and 40 postpartum mothers, taken by simple random sampling
technique. Data retrieving using questionnaires and in-depth interviews.
Thirty three respondents (82,5%) visited postpartum mothers, and in
week 6 there are 30 respondent who visit postpartum mothers. All
midwife stated that postpartum visit very important to monitor the state
of the mother and baby.
