Abstract

The purpose of this descriptive study was to
determine the perceptions of parents about child abuse. A
number of 41 parents who have children of school age in
Jetis Ponorogo is taken as the subject of this research. Analysis
of data using T score. The results showed 58.5% have
negative perception and 41.5% have positive preception about
child abuse. Factors that influence respondents had a negative
perception is the lacking of information and knowledge, as
well as relatively low socioeconomic. Based on these results,
it is expected relevant institutions can provide education on
child rights and child abuse.
