Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship level of knowledge about danger signs of pregnancy primigravida with a frequency of antenatal care visits in PHC of Mergasan, Yogyakarta. Kinds of the other research is observational (non experimental) using cross sectional design. The data was collected by giving questionnaire while data analysis using the chi-square. The results at the level of knowledge indicates that as many as 37 respondents (74%) included in both categories and as many as 13 respondents (26%) included in category less. While on the frequency of antenatal care visits showed that as many as 46 respondents (92%) included in both categories and as many as 4 respondents (8%). The conclusions showed  that there is relationship between the level of knowledge about danger signs of pregnancy primigravida with a frequency of antenatal care visits.Keywords: Mother Mortality Rate (AKI), Primigravida,Dengerous signs in pregnancy knowledge,Antenatal care
