Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the behavior of adolescent anticipation of the dangers of drug abuse in SMK YPKK Ambarketawang Sleman, Yogyakarta. This research is an analytical research with cross sectional design, using 74 sample with simple random sampling metod. The analysis showed many factors that influence the anticipative behavior of the drug abuse dangers are sex (p=0.01 with OR=6.534; 95% CI=1.955 to 21.836), age (p=0.31 with OR=4.909; 95% CI=1.010 to 23.857), and friendship environment (p= 0.009 with OR=10.182; 95% CI=1.245 to 83.249). It is advised to give more attention to boys adolescent, building a good friendship environment of adolescents to have the anticipate behavior for the drug abuse dangers.Keywords: adolescents, drug abuse dangers anticipation
