About the Journal

Journal of Innovation, Business Management and Entrepreneurship (IMBAS) is an English-language peer-reviewed Open Access scientific journal established in 2025 with twice-yearly publication in May and November by the Management Development Center of 'Aisyiyah University Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Association of Management Departments of Muhammadiyah Universities (APSMA PTM). Focusing on all aspects of ‘'Innovation, Business Management & Entrepreneurship’', IMBAS publishes original research articles, reviews, and case studies that provide outputs with sufficient novelty. IMBAS strongly encourages the submission of articles that can contribute better and real understanding to solve business management & entrepreneurship challenges. The journal is committed to following the Committee on Ethics in Publishing (COPE) and adhering to the highest ethical standards under ethics law. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through trustworthy software to ensure authenticity, and then rigorously peer-reviewed by reviewers.

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by the Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewers and will go to the next selection by the Blind Review Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors for revision. These processes take three to four months for a maximum time. For each manuscript, peer reviewers will rate the substantial and technical aspects of peer reviewers who collaborate with Journal of Innovation, Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
