Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

 Journal of Health Studies

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Journal of Health Studies must be

  1. Written in Indonesia or English.
  2. The length of submitted paper is at least 6 pages and no more than 15 pages. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 12 pages.
  3. Recommended to use of a tool such as Mendeley or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA style
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the JHeS Manuscript Template

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of paper is max 14 words, without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has maksimum 75-250 WORDS; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, methodology, main outcomes and results, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion - Conclusion
  4. All research or articles relating to living things shall be through ethical tests or ethical clearance.
  5. References. Expect a minimum of 15 references for original research and 30 references for literature review primarily with minimum 80% to journal papers.
