Buildings in humid tropical climates such as Indonesia frequently encounter thermal comfort issues due to high solar radiation exposure. This study aims to evaluate the effect of overhang length variations on indoor thermal comfort in Widya Puraya Building, Diponegoro University. A quantitative-descriptive and evaluative method was applied using Rhinoceros 3D version 8 integrated with Grasshopper, and Ladybug and Honeybee plug-ins for climate-based thermal simulation. Thermal comfort assessment employed the Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) index. The results indicate that longer overhangs significantly improve indoor thermal comfort and can serve as a reference for adaptive and energy-efficient tropical building design.Downloads
