Abstract

Pola asuh orang tua adalah keseluruhan interaksi orang tua dengan anak, orang tua merangsang untuk mengubah sikap, tingkah laku, perhatian, aturan, disiplin, penghargaan dan punishment, pengetahuan dan tanggapan, serta nilai-nilai yang dianggap pantas oleh orang tua. Pola asuh anak di Jepang cukup berbeda apabila dibandingkan dengan pola asuh anak di negara lain. Keluarga Indonesia yang tinggal di Jepang mempunyai norma-norma agama, sosial dan budaya tertantu yang ingin di terapkan untuk anaknya namun dikarenakan mereka tinggal di negara lain menyebabkan beberapa tantangan yang tidak mudah untuk dijalani. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatnya pengetahuan mitra yaitu diaspora Indonesia (orang tua yang mempunyai anak remaja) tentang parenting style, pola asuh anak, dan mempersiapkan kesehatan reproduksi yang sehat untuk anak remaja. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan yaitu observasi melalui data studi pendahuluan dengan literature dan wawancara dengan key person, penyuluhan dengan melakukan edukasi kesehatan terkait dengan topik dengan memberikan ceramah dan memberikan leaflet dan evaluasi dengan mengukur pengetahuan melalui pretest dan post test. Hasil dari kegiatan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan mitra tentang parenting style, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan mitra tentang strategi persiapan kesehatan reproduksi yang sehat untuk remaja. Hasil pre-test dan post menunjukkan peningkatan pengethauan sasaran. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat dapat terus diterapkan oleh mitra dalam kehidupan sehari – hari dan untuk memastikan kegiatan berlanjut tim akan melakukan monitoring melalui online (via whatshapp, zoom, dll). Langkah selanjutnya adalah pemantauan dan evaluasi, serta perluasan program untuk mencapai dampak yang lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.
