GAMBARAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR KEPATUHAN DIET LANJUT USIA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI

Abstract

This research aims at identifying the visible image of elderly
obedient to the dietary factors in hypertension patients in Margosari,
Pengasih, Kulon Progo in 2010. This study used the observational and
descriptive method with cross sectional time approach. using a single
variable which is elderly diet obedient in hypertension patients. Purposive
sampling was used to take the sample. The obedient factors of dietary
on hypertension patients based on sex were dominated by 28 female
patients (57.1%), 27 patients with under IDR 745.000 monthly income
(55.1%), 20 patients graduated from elementary school only (40.8%),
and 49 patients suffered complication disease (100%). A number of 46
patients (93.9%) had lost their disease symptoms while 47 patients
(95.9%) showed positive attitude toward the health agents. Based on
the research, there were many factors that affect hypertension.
