PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KANKER LEHER RAHIM PADA IBU USIA REPRODUKSI

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of general health education on knowledge about cervical cancer in women of reproductive age in the Pengkol hamlet Gulurejo village, Lendahdistrict, Kulonprogo regency. This study used a quasi-experimental research method (experimental pseudo) by design “one group pretest-posttest designâ€. Before the treate,  majority of respondents (49%) have less knowledge, while 35.3% respondents have quite knowledge, and good knowledge of 15.7% respondents. After treated health education the majority of respondents (37.3%) have a good knowledge, and 56.9% have  insufficient knowledge,  while the lack of knowledge as 5.9%. Paired T test results was significant differences in knowledge about cervical cancer before and after health education.Keywords: health education, knowledge about uterus neck cancer, women of reproductive age.
