Abstract
The problem of family resilience in the special region of Yogyakarta has become a
public concern (PERDA DIY NO.7 of 2018). The large number of divorce cases is
proof of how vulnerable families are. In 2023, there will be 5001 divorce cases
recorded in Sleman, although this figure has decreased from the previous year
which was 5942, the government states that this is still relatively high. However,
not all families whose resilience is vulnerable will end in divorce. Some of them
will survive, but it will have an impact on the mental and moral degradation of
their family members. This is reflected in many phenomena such as klitih, young
marriage, theft, bullying, suicide, lack of self-confidence, promiscuity, etc.
Families whose resilience is vulnerable will have a negative impact on future
generations. A strong family will produce a strong generation. Therefore, a place
is needed to support family resilience. The design of the KRASAN FAMILY
CARE CENTER is an effort to support family resilience through a family therapy
clinic that offers counseling and therapy for families and the residence as a
mediation forum for families who are not doing well.
