Abstract

Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis) adalah perasaan nyeripada siku bagian luar terkait ekstensi pergelangan tangan yang berlebihan.Penyebab utamanya adalah penggunaan otot yang berlebihan secara berulang, dan tenaga kerja manual yang berat meningkatkan risiko terkena Tennis Elbow. Problematika yang sering muncul pada kasus Tennis Elbow adalah terjadinya penuruna n atau keterbatasan fungsional pada suatu pekerjaan, olahraga dan pada aktivitas sehari-hari. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya rasanyeri yang dihasilkan dari proses peradangan yang terjadi pada EpycondylusLateral. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh pemberian EccentricExercise terhadap penurunan nyeri pada penderita Tennis Elbow. Metode: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian narrative review dengan kerangka PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome). Mengidentifikasi artikel menggunakan database yang relevan (PubMed, Google Schoolar, PEDro). Hasil dari penelusuran didapatkan sebanyak 11 artikel yang membahas tentang pengaruh pemberian Eccentric Exercise terhadap penurunan nyeri pada penderita Tennis Elbow. Hasil review 11 artikel tentang pengaruh pemberian Eccentric Exercise terhadap penurunan nyeri pada penderita Tennis Elbow didapatkan ada 9 yang menyatakan ada perubahan penurunan nyeri setelah pemberian Eccentric Exercise dan 2 lainnya menyatakan tidak berpengaruh. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian Eccentric Exercise terhadap penurunan nyeri pada penderita Tennis Elbow. Saran untuk Penelitian narrative review ini dapat dijadikan evidence based fisioterapi untuk menurunkan nyeri pada penderita Tennis Elbow.
