Perbedaan pengaruh pemberian deep cervical muscle exercise dan neural mobilization untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional leher cervical root syndrome

Abstract

Cervical Root Syndrome adalah nyeri leher yang menyebar hingga ke bahu, lengan atas sampai bawah. Hal ini dikarenakan terjadi penekanan pada akar saraf cervical karena penggunaan yang berlebihan (overused), abnormalitas lingkup gerak sendi yang akan mengakibatkan aktifitas fungsional leher terganggu. Sebanyak 31 pasien cervical root syndrome ditemukan di Puskesmas Godean 1 pada bulan februari-maret 2022. Bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan pemberian deep cervical muscle exercise dan neural mobilization untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional leher pada cervical root syndrome. Penelitian menggunakan metode experimental pre dan post two group design. Sebanyak 20 sampel ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok masing-masing berjumlah 10 responden dengan intervensi deep cervical muscle exercise dan neural mobilization. Latihan dilakukan 4 minggu, frekuensi latihan 3 kali dalam seminggu. Alat ukur Neck Disability Index (NDI). Uji Normalitas Shapiro-wilk test. Uji Homogenitas Lavene test, uji hipotesis I dan II wilcoxon test dan uji hipotesis III Man Whitney Test. Hasil uji hipotesis I dan II Wilcoxon test diperoleh p = 0,005 (p<0,05) dan hasil hipotesis III man whitney test diperoleh nilai p=0,354 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini tidak ada perbedaan pengaruh pemberian deep cervical muscle exercise dan neural mobilization untuk meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional leher pada kasus cervical root syndrome.
