Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi penataan kampung wisata yang berada di tepi Sungai Cisadane yang diperuntukan sebagai kawasan pariwisata. Masalah difokuskan pada penataan kawasan sempadan sungai (waterfront) yang hingga saat ini masih kurang dikembangkan secara optimal. Keberadaan kampung yang berdekatan dengan Sungai Cisadane salah satunya adalah Kampung Bekelir yang bertransformasi dari kampung kumuh menjadi kampung wisata kota. Guna mendekati masalah ini dipergunakan acuan teori pariwisata dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui identifikasi potensi fisik dan non fisik berupa atraksi, aksesibilitas, amenitas yang kemudian dianalisis dengan karakteristik pengunjung yang meliputi pola kunjungan serta harapan pengunjung. Untuk kemudian hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah lahirnya strategi-strategi penataan kawasan agar mampu mempertahankan eksistensinya sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata tepi sungai.
